Flowmeters that are frame-mounted are available with either strong, rigid PTFE fittings that are chemically resistant and inert or with durable economical aluminum. Tubing connectors are rear-mounted for attachment to an instrument. PTFE units have 9.5mm (3/8") straight glass connectors with PTFE and Kel-F® valves. Aluminum units have Buna-N, 316 stainless steel and Delrin® valves with hose barbs that accept tubing from 8mm (5/16") to 9.5mm (3/8") I.D., which can be removed for use with female 3.2mm (1/8") NPT fittings.
To ensure that the meter is vertical, an optional Leveling Base can be used, eliminating anomalies caused by friction between the moving float and tube. The triangular base is 152mm (6") Plexiglas® with three adjustable feet and vial level. Specifications: Maximum operating pressure 100 p.s.i.g. and maximum operating temperature 65.5ºC (150ºF). Dimensions and scale for -0005, -0010, -0015, -0020, -0025, -0030 157 x 32mm wide (61/4 x 11/4"). 12.7mm (1/2") mounting holes are located 135mm (51/2") center to center, 65mm scale. Dimensions and scale for -0035, -0075, -0125, -0215, -0305, 266 x 32mm wide (101/2 x 11/4"). 12.7mm (1/2") mounting holes are located 242mm (93/4") center to center,150mm scale.
