Flowmeters that are frame-mounted are available with either strong, rigid PTFE fittings that are chemical resistant and inert or with strong and economical aluminum fittings. Tubing connectors are rear mounted for attachment to an instrument. PTFE units have 9.5mm (3/8") straight glass connectors with PTFE and Kel-F® valves. Aluminum units have Buna-N, 316 stainless steel and Delrin® valves with hose barbs that accept tubing from 8mm (5/16") to 9.5mm (3/8") I.D., which can be removed for use with female 3.2mm (1/8") NPT fittings.
To ensure that the meter is vertical, an optional Leveling Base can be used to eliminate anomalies caused by friction between the float and tube. The triangular base is 152mm (6") Plexiglas® with three adjustable feet and vial level. Specifications: Maximum operating pressure 200 p.s.i.g. and maximum operating temperature 121ºC (250ºF). Aluminum units have Buna-N, 316 stainless steel and Delrin® valves with hose barbs that accept tubing from 8mm (5/16") to 9.5mm (3/8") I.D., which can be removed for use with male 3.2mm (1/8") NPT fittings. Dimensions and scale for -0005, 0010, 0015, 0020, 0025, 0030, 157 x 32mm wide (61/4 x11/4"). 15.9mm(5/8") mounting holes are located 115mm (41/2") center to center, 65mm scale. Dimensions and scale for -0035, 0075, 0125, 0215, 0305, 266mm x 32mm wide (101/2 x 11/4"). 15.9mm (5/8") mounting holes are located 222.7mm (83/4") center to center, 150mm scale.
Flowtubes are shrouded in a strong, rigid black anodized aluminum frame
