0.85% Saline
Blood bank saline is pH controlled for a pH between 6.5 and 7.0. Buffered saline is tightly controlled to a pH range of 7.0 to 7.2 and is specially designed to enhance weak agglutination reactions in blood bank procedures. Both saline and buffered saline remain stable without preservatives. All of the solutions meet NCCLS specifications for standard isotonic sodium chloride solution for use in immunohematologic testing. Containers feature a convenient dispensing spigot.
