This safe, compact, flexible aspiration system is ideal for use with critical liquids. It allows infinitely variable control of the vacuum, to accomplish any task from the gentle aspiration of small containers to the rapid emptying of large containers. Waste is collected in the included polypropylene bottle and can be autoclaved in it. All parts are fully autoclavable, except for the basic housing containing the pump. Everything (hand controller, tubing, bottle lid, bottle, and filter) can be sterilized for 20 minutes at 121°C, guaranteeing maximum safety even with critical liquids.
In the event of an overflow (waste collection bottle not being changed in due time), a hydrophobic filter prevents liquids getting into the pump and pump housing. As soon as the target vacuum set has been reached, the pump switches off automatically. If the vacuum collapses in use, the pump switches itself on automatically. This means that the pump is always operational; there is no need to keep switching it on and off. The vacuum pump is extremely quiet during operation.
Ordering Information: The unit includes a 4L polypropylene bottle, a lid without tube couplings, a lid with barbed tube fittings, a tube set with filter, and a mains adapter. Hand controller (sold separately) includes hand controller, single-channel plastic adapter, single-channel SS adapter (40mm), 8-channel SS adapter (40mm), safety stand, rubber adapter for Pasteur pipets, and Swiss Army* knife.
