Biofluid aspiration systems are ideal for removing supernatants and other fluids from Petri dishes, microtitration plates, and cell culture flasks. These self-contained systems isolate aspiration applications from a house vacuum, keeping the house system clean and eliminating the threat of cross-contamination and vacuum interference. Operation is controlled by a touch-sensitive hand controller that provides precise aspiration and dispensing through thumb control. Controller accepts common pipets and tips, and does not directly contact aspirated fluids. A second user can be added with the addition of a second hand controller and coupling.
Systems are equipped with a full chemistry-design ME2C vacuum pump with fluoropolymer flowpath. Pump offers service intervals in excess of 10,000 operating hours, and will run only as needed to maintain vacuum level in receiving containers, reducing noise and wear. The VARIO model 688263 is equipped with a variable speed pump drive, allowing continuous vacuum level adjustment for varied application requirements.
Ordering Information: Systems are supplied with a one-year warranty. Aspiration systems include a chemistry-design diaphragm pump and exhaust condensate catchpot, one hand controller with three pipet/tip adapters, two meters of tubing, one autoclavable container with biofilter, one mounted quick release coupling, and operating manual.
