The DPS-20 Dual Processing System is a revolutionary homogenizing product in the sample preparation field. This system combines the mechanical homogenizer and ultrasonic Homogenizer methods into a closed compact and timesaving unit with full automation. The advancement of this system allows the use of each homogenizer method dependently or independently of each other. Its memory capacity can store up to 9 programs at one time or the system can be used in manual mode for individual sample processing. All of its function capabilities allow the user the maximum amount of choice and control to best support their own processing needs.
The ability to use the DPS-20 in three different configurations, demonstrates its superior design to be three products in-one. It’s the first ever Automated Ultrasonic Homogenizing System, Mechanical and Ultrasonic Homogenizing System, and it’s an affordable Automated Mechanical Homogenizing System.
With mechanical homogenizing the advantage can be seen in faster sample breakdown of all types of samples without introducing heat and limited noise level. However, the particle reduction has limitations. While ultrasonic homogenizing has the advantage of higher particle reduction levels. However, negatives can be introducing heat into the sample, a limited use of sample types and volumes, and elevated noise levels.
The DPS-20 homogenizer merges the advantages of each homogenizing method to become the optimum homogenizing system in the market. The system leads to faster and more efficient sample breakdown with minimal or no heat introduced while in a sound enclosure for noise reduction. The automation of this system allows for repeat processing and consistent results, which frees up a large amounts of time and work in the laboratory.
A high performance brushless motor provides the power for the mechanical homogenizer, while the 130-watt ultrasonic processor delivers constant amplitude throughout processing. The abating sound enclosure has mounted LED interior lighting and a clear polycarbonate door for a full view inside. This system can be used with 15ml, 16ml, 19ml, and 50ml tubes through its unique carousel rack design. You can process up to 20 samples in one-run, or either include two rinse cycles or setup for every other position to be a rinse cycle during processing. A typical run time for 20 samples is under 15 minutes. Furthermore, additional carousel racks can be purchased for quicker load time.
