Used for liquids. Incorporate a stainless steel plunger that is individually fitted to a matching syringe barrel.
Point style 2 is recommended for most applications requiring the puncturing of a septum. Needle is cut at a 22° bevel with the tip of the needle slightly bent, partially obstructing the orifice, to prevent septum coring.
An “S” after the needle gauge denotes a small bore. Needles with a small bore carry less dead volume than a standard bore, and have a thicker wall advantageous for piercing septa.
