This positive displacement syringe, for use with liquids, has a tungsten plunger wire that travels inside the needle. The needle acts as the syringe barrel.
Recommended for most applications requiring the puncturing of a septum. The needle is cut at a 22° bevel with the tip slightly bent, partially obstructing the orifice to help prevent septum coring.
Syringe incorporates a removable stainless steel needle. An “S” after the needle gauge denotes a small bore. Needles with a small bore carry less dead volume than a standard bore, and have a thicker wall, which can be advantageous in piercing septa.
